Delete your account

You can delete your E5tarli account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app or by writing to us. This page explains how to ask, what goes, and what stays.

  1. How to request deletion

    Two ways, both end at the same place — the account and the data it owns are removed.

    • In the app: open the You tab, then Settings, then "Delete account". Confirm, and the account is gone immediately. Nothing is queued and nothing is recoverable.
    • Without the app: email info@engtechnos.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the address matches an account, delete it, and reply when it is done — within 30 days, usually the same week.

  2. What is deleted

    Deletion is a hard delete, not a deactivation. There is no dormant copy of the account waiting to be restored.

    • The account itself: your name, username, email address, bio, avatar, language, onboarding answers, XP and level.
    • Your Pool: every activity you saved, with its notes, links, categories and goals.
    • Your rolls: every roll session, the suggestions it produced, and the reasons you gave when you rerolled.
    • Your results and challenges, including every photo you attached. The image files are removed from storage, not just unlinked.
    • Your support tickets and their messages.
    • Your device tokens, which is what stops any further notification reaching your phone.

  3. What is kept, and for how long

    Three narrow exceptions, none of which identifies you as an account holder afterwards.

    • Activities other people copied from you stay in their own Pools, because they belong to them now. The link back to you is stripped at deletion, so they no longer carry your name.
    • Messages you sent through the website contact form are kept in the shared support inbox, because they are keyed by the email address you typed and are not part of the account. Ask us in the same email and we will delete those too.
    • Operational logs and encrypted database backups may still contain traces for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten on their normal rotation. They are not used for anything but debugging and recovery.

  4. Before you delete

    If you want to keep anything you wrote — a result, a link, a note — save it first. Once the deletion runs there is no export and no undo, and signing in again with the same Google or Apple account creates a brand new, empty account rather than restoring the old one.
